Al-Amudi Water Well Project — Ongoing Charity

Monday, 8 Dhul Hijja 1447H — May 25, 2026

By Allah’s grace, a water well project (Al-Amudi) was completed as an ongoing charity on behalf of Haj Ahmed Mohammed Al-Amudi (may Allah have mercy on him) — in cooperation with his brothers in Taiz to provide a safe and permanent water source for the residents. This project was implemented in response to the pleas of the residents who were suffering from the hardship of drawing water by hand, especially children and women, in addition to their great need for clean drinking water.

This project brought joy and reassurance to the hearts of the area’s residents, contributing to alleviating their daily suffering in searching for water and carrying it over long distances. It also helped improve health and environmental conditions, saving time and effort that can be invested in education and livelihood.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best charity is providing water.”

We also invite all people of goodness and generosity to support such humanitarian projects, as there are many remote villages in Taiz living in pain and deprivation, lacking the most basic necessities of life, and waiting for helping hands.
